What AFPV gets right

Before examining the limitations, it is important to acknowledge what AFPV achieves:

1. Closes the optimization-validation loop. For the first time in a commercial product, network optimization and field validation are architecturally integrated. The SON does not operate blindly; it receives ground-truth feedback.

Conclusion

The market response is already clear: AFPV will serve as the automated validation layer for large operators with Nokia-dominant RAN. The operators with the most robust field validation strategy in 2026 will be those who deploy automated solutions for routine measurement and independent diagnostic tools for everything else, never relying on a single vendor to both optimize and grade its own work.
