Dial *#06# on your phone. The IMEI will appear on screen. You can also find it in Settings > About Phone.
Is my data stored?

iPhone IMEI FAQ

How do I find my iPhone IMEI?
Dial *#06#, or go to Settings β†’ General β†’ About β†’ IMEI. The IMEI is also engraved on the SIM tray (iPhone 6s to 13) and shown in Finder/iTunes when the iPhone is connected.
How can I check if an iPhone is unlocked?
The IMEI alone doesn't directly reveal carrier lock status. However, our tool identifies the exact model, which lets you verify band compatibility with your carrier.
Does Apple use the same TAC for all iPhones of a model?
No. Apple uses multiple TACs per model depending on the regional variant (A2894, A2897, etc.), connectivity type (mmWave vs Sub-6), and supported bands.
How can I verify if an iPhone is genuine?
Enter the TAC in our tool: a genuine iPhone will show 'Apple' as manufacturer with the correct chipset (A17 Pro, A18, etc.). Counterfeits typically have an unknown TAC or a different manufacturer.
What's the difference between iPhone models by region?
US iPhones (A28xx models) support mmWave 5G, while international models (A29xx) are limited to Sub-6 GHz. The TAC lets you identify the exact variant.
